Greetings from Mother Blake
To Bishop, saints and friends precious holy greetings to you in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ.
I am grateful to God for 2011, a year that swiftly went by. It reminds me that the Scripture states ‘But for the elects sake whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days’. Thank you Father!
I thank God for the Women’s Department under the leadership of Mother J Reynolds. The woman that God has blessed to do His will. I thank God for bringing her through her near death experience, oh what a God!
As women of Grace and Power let us get together and pull down the strong holds of the devil with prayer and fasting in the coming year. Let us try and see what we can do for the Lord, and also to boost our local Women’s Department. The Women’s Department continue to try different events; such as the Prayer Breakfast, morning prayers and exercise sessions and other things, come and join in!
We the women of God have a great deal to do, if we don’t move we will be stagnant. We cannot afford to give up and sit still. Women of Grace and Power we are not just say to words, but live the words in practice. God is counting on us, let us be like Nehemiah, we cannot afford to come down from the good work that we are doing. Let us do better if the Lord says the same for 2012.
We will still be tested by adversity, but in adversity we can be strong. For there is peace in adversity, there is hope in adversity and there is power in adversity.
Psalms 27:4 states ‘One thing have I desired of the Lord, that thing will I seek after. That I may dwell within the house of the Lord all the days of my life and to behold the beauty of the Lorand to enquire in His Temple.’
Women of Grace and Power let us forget the past, for the past blocks the way and prevents us from progressing in the future. Let us pray for one another, Let us love one another in truth this is how we accomplish the will of God.
May God richly bless your hearts and give you peace.
